Each widgets in dashboard are grouped and arranged based on the scientific relationship between them.

Important aspect is that entire calculations are based on the sunrise of the day which remain constant till the next sunrise places the vital role in the accuracy of the data which is the most used method of Vedic calculations. It differ based on the locations (Latitude and the longitude).

Top left corner displays the moon cycle, to the right corner displays the date and year provided with progress bar which shows whether leap year or normal in one stack, Week number (W#), Tamil month and day in next followed by the current hh:mm:ss AM / PM and Agnihotram.

agnihotramAgnihotram shows the start time and the total hours left to start (approximately in hours and minutes) and the % of time period completed which is displayed in progress bar below it. The flame icon will blink in orange colour when time slot for Agnihotram started and later turns to grey when it gets over.

 

STATISTICS PANE:
· Mel-Samam-Keel nokku days, Soolam, Paksham, Tamil Year, Tamil month, Current date in Tamil month of Tamil Year along with the completion status represented by progress bar, all in first row of stack.

Ayanamsam:
Indicates whether it is Uthirayanam, Dakshinayanam each takes 6 months in Tamil month for the completion. Uthirayanam is said to be the time slot where angels and Gods are awake where Dakshinayanam is the opposite of it.

Thithi widget starts with the status indicator followed by the % of time period completed with the background of status indicator, the start time, end time of current Thithi, name of Thithi along with the completion status represented by progress bar in the second row of Panchangam stack.
Thithi is the moon phase for respective time period.
Yogam widget starts with the status indicator followed by the % of time period completed with the background of status indicator, the start time, end time of current Yogam, name of Thithi along with the completion status represented by progress bar in the third row of Panchangam stack.
Yogam is based on the longitudes of both sun and moon at particular time. There are 27 yogam in Tamil panchagam.
Karanam widget starts with the status indicator followed by the % of time period completed with the background of status indicator, the start time, end time of current Karanam, name of Karanam along with the completion status represented by progress bar in the fourth row of Panchangam stack.

Star or natchatram widget starts with the status indicator followed by the % of time period completed with the background of status indicator, the start time, end time of current star, name of star along with the completion status represented by progress bar in the fifth row of Panchangam stack.
The important feature of this app is Natchatram. There are total 12 Raasi (star sign) and 27 Natchatram in Tamil horoscope.

Yemma widget starts with the status indicator followed by the % of time period completed with the background of status indicator, the start time, end time of Yemma along with the completion status represented by progress bar.

Season at the right end of the image above gives the current season based on the location set by the user during the initial start of the app. Given are the image and name of the season along with the completion status represented by progress bar.

Horai widget starts with the status indicator followed by the minutes of time period completed with the background of status indicator, the start time, end time of Horai along with the completion status represented by progress bar.

Chandrashtamam widget starts with the status indicator followed by the hours completed with the background of status indicator, the start time, end time of Chandrashtamam and the name of the star sign(natchatram) along with the completion status represented by progress bar.

Both these widgets are used for taking right decision, as each horai is subjected and suitable for different activities and Chandrashtamam will create a negative impact for particular star or natchatram of the day as represented in this widget. So the user can be aware on knowing the information through all these widgets in the app.

 

Thithi:

On click of the Thithi button in the menu page takes you to Thithi page.

According to the Hindu calendar lunar month has two fortnights (lunar phases) and begins with New moon (Amavasai).

The lunar days are called Thithi and each month has 30 Thithi each varies in hours. The first lunar phases between new moon day and full moon day is called waxing moon (Sukla Paksham) and the second fortnight of the month is called waning moon (Krishna Paksham).

This occurs for both Sukla and Krishna paksham except the difference that Pournami occurs in Sukla paksham and Amavasai Thithi occur in Krishna paksham.
Thithi is represented with the index number and the highlighted Thithi is the currently running Thithi. Below is the start and end date of Thithi in one column and start and end time of Thithi in another column then follows the hour completed and % of time period completed. The visual representation of total time period completed for current Thithi in Sukla Paksham as well as for the Krishna Paksham is given in the right end of this page in addition with the completion status represented by progress bar.

 

Horai:

On click of the Horai in the menu page takes to Horai page.
According to Vedic astrology, every hour has its own impact and importance where some may give positive effects and other the opposite effects.
Here the horai is divided into 12 for day and 12 for night so totally 24 horai segments from sunrise to sunset for a day. Each horai is indicated with start time and highlighted part is the current running horai if the time period is indicated by red indicates bad and green indicates good as mentioned earlier about the colour indicators. Below, is the representation of completed time period in %, followed in minutes and the start and end time of the current horai, additionally the completion status represented by progress bar.
